We're seeking a strategic and people-focused Enterprise Applications Manager to join our dynamic IT organization. In this leadership role, you'll support the Enterprise Applications Manager in overseeing the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise-wide software systems. You'll lead a talented team to ensure our core business applications align with organizational goals, drive operational efficiency, and deliver measurable value across departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Enterprise Applications Manager II leads a team responsible for oversight, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide software applications. This role ensures that business systems are aligned with organizational goals, improves operational efficiency, and delivers measurable value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Employees are held accountable for all duties of the job. Individuals must be able to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Lead a team and oversee evaluation, design, implementation, integration, management and support of enterprise applications and other technologies as assigned

  • Helps to define and enforce access controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data

  • Participates in audits and oversees implementation of effective remediations to audit findings

  • Maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, communicating job expectations and monitoring and appraising staff results

  • Models and drives continuous learning and builds organizational capacity by developing high potential employees for growth opportunities and advancement

  • Coordinates with management on prioritization and oversees team deliverables

  • Provides guidance, leadership, and assistance when difficult decisions need to be made

  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with counterparts across technical teams to ensure strategies and policies are aligned and to coordinate resources effectively in support of organizational goals

  • Responsible for evaluating and managing vendor relationships to ensure strong partnership and growth

  • Drives continuous improvement by identifying and monitoring key metrics and scorecards

  • Participates in expense planning for yearly budgeting process, maintenance agreement renewal, procurement, and cleanup or cost reduction of existing agreements

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in technical (STEM) field and seven years' experience in technical role preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Two years experience of supervisory/managing in an IT environment preferred

  • Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes

  • Experience managing on-prem and cloud-based enterprise applications in a complex IT environment.

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and writing skills

  • Standard office environment with frequent telephone communication, computer operation, and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy and printer machine.

  • Occasional moving and positioning supplies in excess of 20 pounds

  • All employees are expected to present themselves in a professional manner in alignment with the financial services industry

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to operate standard PC equipment

  • Ability to handle stress associated with frequent deadline and tight schedules

  • Required occasional on-call assistance outside of normal business hours

  • Occasional Travel

Hybrid Work Option

  • Opportunity to work from home up to three days per week. Eligibility dependent upon factors detailed in PERA's Work from Home Policy.
