Human Resources Manager (Finance)



The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions at the plant level, ensuring that the organization's workforce-related processes align with company policies and goals. This role manages a team of HR professionals and works closely with the General Manager to execute HR strategies that support operational goals. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, performance management, and compensation.

  • Position Type: Full-time/Exempt
  • Pay Range: $100,000-$130,000/year (based on skills and experience)
  • Work Location: Onsite - Saegertown, Pennsylvania
  • Travel: 10%
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the plant's hiring functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Ensure alignment with staffing needs and operational goals.
  • Work with department heads to identify talent needs and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment through effective employee relations strategies.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
  • Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEOC).
  • Maintain and update company policies in accordance with legal standards and industry best practices.
  • Oversee investigations and resolve any HR-related compliance matters.
  • Implement performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and coaching.
  • Support employee development programs such as training, succession planning, and career growth initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between performance appraisals and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation plans, employee benefits, and reward programs.
  • Ensure employee data and payroll accuracy through the Dayforce HRIS system.
  • Analyze and address compensation concerns, including merit increases, salary adjustments, and market comparisons.
  • Manage employee records and HR processes using Dayforce or other HRIS systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and provide reporting as needed for decision-making and compliance.
  • Promote company values such as integrity, customer focus, and stewardship.
  • Lead initiatives to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention at the plant.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the General Manager and leadership team on workforce-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to execute HR strategies that align with company goals.
  • Consult with legal counsel on complex issues to ensure full compliance with employment laws.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and implement solutions to improve workforce effectiveness and plant performance.

Qualifications (Required):
  • Education: Bachelor's
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with Dayforce or other HRIS systems is required.
Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
