Position Title: Network & Data Center Program Manager (M2)

Role

The Program Manager, Offnet Solutions is responsible for overseeing the members of the Cost Savings team to ensure it is meeting departmental goals in a manner consistent with established processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Oversee all new project intake – ensure SharePoint tool is loaded with the correct level of detail on a per project basis. Determine if a project will be managed in InTrak, which is a byproduct of SharePoint, or else create the appropriate Project files.
  • Monitor all inflight cost savings projects to ensure they are being executed in accordance with their project plans. Guide and assist the individual contributors accordingly. Act as an escalation resource as needed.
  • Continue to champion and develop improvements to current cost savings project management and administration tools.
  • Develop reporting to provide summaries and insights to cost savings projects in all stages of completion.
  • Maintain and update documents on the SharePoint site and manage the security of internal and external documents as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in other company departments and teams.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience, education and/or training
Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project and program management, with a focus on network/telecom projects.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team
  • Knowledge of telecommunications networks, including Node/POP configurations, Colocation Sites, Cross Connects, Inside Plant and Riser Systems, AC/DC Power Plant.

  • Ability to be proactive in recognizing potential delays and drive the work required to eliminate roadblocks.

  • Relationship management – deploy soft skills required to maintain trusted relationships with internal and external teams.

  • Ability to read and understand standard telecom contracts – MSAs, IRUs, Leases and Service Orders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in program and project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, JIRA).
  • Experience in managing simultaneous, large, complex programs and delivering on schedule and on budget.
  • Experience assessing priority and severity of issues by understanding business objectives, technical costs, and user needs, as well as weigh alternatives for resolution.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas, challenges and potential solutions to both technical and non-technical team members and confirm understanding.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Access customer or sales systems or applications which may retain all or some data related to Crown Castle current or prospective customers. Subject to local and state eligibility, a pre-employment background check will be conducted for criminal convictions, including misdemeanors and felonies related to fraud or violence.

Where you will work

This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders and may require up to 10% travel as needed.

Compensation

The salary range offered for this position is $111,600 - $153,500 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
