Stewarding Supervisor - Washington Hilton (Finance)

Washington Hilton is looking for a dynamic Stewarding Supervisor to join their Stewarding team! With about 120,000 square feet of meeting space and 3 Food & Beverage outlets, this property is located in the heart of Washington, DC and is the home to amazing events and guests.

The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience in the stewarding department for min. 5 years as a Steward or 2-3 years in a supervisory role and have full availability to work the ever changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to grow their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: Fluctuating schedules over AM and PM shifts, with mostly PM shifts: 4:00PM-12.30AM, weekdays, weekends and Holidays availability required.

Pay Range: $22.01 - $29.35 per hour, based on experience

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for restaurant service
• Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings
• Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments
• Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified
• Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
