YOUR ROLE
- Operates forklift truck
- Move, stack, load or unload materials, parts and finished goods
- Performance Pre-shift inspections
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standard
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Operates one of the following MHE: lift truck, narrow aisle, or pallet jack based on job function.
- Performs pre-shift inspection of all MHE used.
- Performs truck battery maintenance as required.
- Performs various loading and unloading functions with an understanding truck load weight limitations and
- proper weight distribution of loads.
- Performs case and full unit picks, replenishments, product storage, and receipts as documented in standard
- operating procedures.
- Completes daily performance metrics report.
- Reports all damage (equipment, racks, or product) and any hazards immediately.
- Performs Lock out/Tag out procedures as needed.
- Takes independent action or directs resolution of housekeeping infractions in area of responsibility.
- Performs additional tasks as directed by Supervisor and / or Team Leader
YOUR SKILLS
- Must have a High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Operate a forklift
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Completion of any relevant distribution training requirements.
- Completion of operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- Certified in operation of MHE
- Demonstrates a professional, team-player attitude toward work and co-workers
- Demonstrates strong communication skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
