Senior Director F&B Brand Development (Finance)




***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage (F&B), design, marketing, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique brands!

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Director F&B Brand Management reporting to the Senior Vice President of Full Service, you will lead and direct all activities of a cross-functional Brand F&B Product Solutions Development team, including creating F&B solutions across Hilton's Full Service and Luxury brand categories in the Americas. You will develop enterprise and category solutions, prototypes, and brand standards to support on-property Food & Beverage programming and progressive F&B concepts to drive commercial success and recognition of Hilton brands while crafting value for owners.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Conduct market research, evaluate and create F&B concepts for regional suitability, target audience, and alignment with Brand Standards
  • Develop well-defined F&B concepts for owners to address key areas of need including beverage, retail, breakfast, and GM&E
  • Develop well-defined Master Prototype F&B innovations for use as ready-to-use solutions by owners and operators and evaluate business opportunities for new and additional prototype concepts
  • Present detailed F&B concept briefs for review by internal and external partners

How you will collaborate with others:
  • Socialize new programs, brand standards with F&B Operations and Brand Leaders in APAC and EMEA to ensure alignment
  • Build strong and effective business relationships with senior stakeholders in the region and work to support their goals and priorities
  • Advise owners, asset managers, and operators to Hilton's online Food & Beverage Portfolio of concepts

What are we looking for?

Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Collaboratively work with Franchisees and senior partners to provide brand mentorship, support, and drive programs across the franchised estate in support of their goals and priorities
  • Ensure that appropriate talent is identified to assemble and develop a cross-functional team while leading that team to achieve strategic goals and performance
  • Review Brand Standards for relevance in the market and develop updates in collaboration with respective Full Service Brand Heads, Brand Performance Support and F&B Operations
  • Effectively lead projects, relationships, communications, and timelines with internal collaborators and third-party vendors
  • Direct the strategy and resourcing of Brand Food & Beverage programs, offerings, and activities across all brands Globally
  • Identify brand relevant restaurant operators and concept partners and make recommendations

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Fifteen (15) years of overall professional experience
  • Ten (10) years of Corporate Food & Beverage experience in a similar role
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of demonstrated experience leading a team
  • 25% Travel time required

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Masters Degree in Hospitality, Culinary, Hotel Management or Business Degree
  • Ten (10) plus years of progressive Corporate F&B experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Food & Beverage asset/prototype development and standards implementation
