Lead Functional and Training Manager

Job Description Summary:

  • Team D&G a proven prime company at Scott AFB are seeking an exceptional Lead Functional and Training Manager in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) Surface/Water Program. GATES serves as a single port management system providing cargo planning, in- transit visibility, vessel manifesting, customs clearance, cargo documentation, and sends payment data to SDDC G8 for cargo billing.

  • Acts as Program Manager responsible for all activities related to administration and management of the SDDC GATES program, to include creating and submitting the Task Order Management Plan and Monthly Status Report

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Leads a broad range of training support in all aspects of the GATES mission, to include virtual, computer-based and in-person.
  • Oversees development of course material and instruction of the GATES hand-held terminal course to include device set-up and configuration, cargo processing and data transfer.
  • Oversees creation of training agendas, and applicable training materials to include, but not limited to handouts for in-person, virtual and computer-based training
  • Ensures completion of After-Action Report (AAR) after completion of event(s) Oversees preparation of classroom and audio-visual equipment for training sessions
  • Oversees support to military exercises, to include MRS, EDRE, JRE, SEDRE and training/fielding exercises
  • Researches, prepares, and coordinates GATES briefings and informational documents with SDDC HHQ
  • Supports the functional support team developing and testing software test plans
  • Responsible for ensuring all GATES equipment is functional, updated, and maintained
  • Responsible for ensuring the preparation and documentation of standard operating procedures and protocols.
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR
  • Bachelor's degree (any field) + One of the following certifications : Security X, CASP+, CGRC, CAP, DAWIA PM Practioner AND one of the following SecurityX , CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP ( if held certification is in both lists, only one certification is required)
  • 5 years experience in program management
  • 10 years' experience supporting training and exercises
  • Certified training instructor

Eligibility Requirements:
  • DoD Secret Clearance required

Desired Skills:
  • PMP
  • Experience at SDDC or USTRANSCOM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Location:

  • On-site, Scott AFB, with CONUS/OCONUS travel

Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year Apply Salary Minimum: 115000Salary Maximum: 125000
