Director of Logistics (Project Management)
Job Summary
Train, Develop, and Manage field Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) specialists to rapidly deploy across country in support of new Prime Vendor (PV) Implementations, issue resolution, retention efforts, SCO projects, etc.Job Description
Manage & lead team of SCO specialists in alignment with Supply Chain Solution objectives.
Collaborate with Regional & Sales Management Teams to coordinate & deploy team to support new PV Implementations, issue resolutions, retention efforts, SCO projects, etc.
Provide support & guidance to Regional Directors for any additional advanced level SCO programs or issues.
Build out strategy in conjunction with Supply Chain Solutions Leadership to leverage SCO specialists in support of retention efforts & Top 150 IDN engagements,
Standardize SCO field operations' procedures & processes to drive synchronization across all RLD regions to include but not limited to knowledge management, SCO service quoting, bulk to LUM conversions, Phase II assessments, process change communication, etc.
Support & organize CRM management of opportunities to help drive sales cycle of SCO services.
Build out and standardize onboarding & training regimen of new SCO specialists.
Coordinate & lead training of new SCO field specialists quarterly or as needed.
Simultaneously, manage onboarding & training process of newly hired SCO specialists & build out and/or standardize SCO procedures & processes.
Management responsibilities include:
Typically manages through multiple Managers
Provide leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has system-wide accountability
Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department
Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
