We are seeking a Prepress Operator 2 which will play a critical role in preparing digital files for print production. This position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of prepress workflows, file preparation, and industry-standard software.
What You'll Do
Preflight, process, and build print-ready jobs, including file export and final PDF creation.
Alter and prepare files for proofing, plating, and digital output.
Perform PDF and proof checks to ensure file integrity and production readiness.
Create and manage digital proofs, ensuring alignment with job specifications.
Upload mass files to internal and external web portals (e.g., Scout).
Prepare files for proofing and plate-making processes.
Maintain and update job records, schedule statuses, and workflow documentation.
Interpret and follow detailed job instructions and design specifications.
Support production teams by ensuring files meet all technical and quality standards.

Experience or working knowledge of the following applications:
Adobe Acrobat
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Kodak Preps
Impostrip
Ability to interpret graphic art terms and job instructions accurately.
Prior experience in file preparation, prepress, or digital print workflows preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Occasional lifting or handling of print materials may be required based on production needs.
