Child Focused Therapist (Personal Services)

Compensation:
This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $24,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on compensation model selected, full-time or part-time status, number of client sessions per week, licensure, experience, and average reimbursement rate.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Masters degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or universityCandidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
(Experience with DC:0-5, ECSII/CASII, SDQ assessments preferred)Passion and experience working with and meeting the unique mental health needs of children,
adolescents, and familiesKnowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative
child development and psychopathology in the diagnosis and treatment of children/familiesAbility to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clientsProficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments.

Responsibilities include:
Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment (including family and individual therapy), and referrals to minor clients and their parents/guardiansEvaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentationActive participation and responsibility in building, growing, and maintaining caseload to meet agreed upon weekly billable expectations; full-time: 22 sessions, part-time: 10-21 sessionsCollaborate with other Child Services providers including medication management, psychological assessment services, and other mental health providers to meet client needs.Coordinate services with external care providers including case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as neededProvide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your communityUtilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goalsAttend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Providers offer individual and family therapy using a broad range of modalities. Clinicians may offer Play Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dance/Movement Therapy, or other specific modalities. Overall, practice includes play-based and interactive methods, regular caregiver involvement and/or family therapy, and tailored approaches that meet the developmental needs of children and adolescents.

This role leverages in-person and telehealth care, meeting our clients where they're at. This allows for a hybrid clinician schedule to collaborate with the team in the clinic and work from home!

Additionally, Ellie assists in providing centralized administrative support, technology, some referral support, scheduling, and client/therapist matching. There is the opportunity to provide tele-health services, but you do need to be able to commute into the office on a regular basis.
