Vice President, Transformation (Finance)

As the VP, Transformation you will be responsible for overseeing and driving transformational programs across the organization. As the lead for critical large enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, will effectively drive programs holistically to ensure successful execution. Additionally, this role will craft the strategy and plan to determine offshore, nearshore and outsourcing opportunities in partnership with the regions and functions, building and leading shared centers and identifying process optimization opportunities through AI and automation.

Prefer candidate to be based in GXO facility in Greenwich, CT or High Point, NC. Role requires 35%-40% global travel.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead and manage GXO's enterprise-wide transformation program office while implementing, tracking and reporting on the various strategic initiatives against global priorities and set goals
  • Build and lead transformational plans, bringing in industry standard, top-notch methodologies.
  • Build and deploy governance structures to manage programs optimally
  • Successfully interfaces with external and internal partners to ensure smooth run, representing GXO as the key spokesperson.
  • Drive the program operationally: ensure on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery of key transformational programs.
  • Take the lead on critical projects related to the transformation of the business and bring together different changes and business initiatives into an integrated transformation journey for the business.
  • Strategic Opportunity Assessment: Identify and evaluate opportunities for nearshoring, offshoring, and outsourcing based on business objectives, cost-efficiency, risk, and scalability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership and functional heads to understand business needs and gain alignment on sourcing and shared services strategies. Present business cases, ROI models, and strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
  • Operational & Financial Planning: Develop detailed implementation plans including transition timelines, resource requirements, cost modeling, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Change Management & Communication: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of shared services across the organization. Build communication plans to ensure transparency and stakeholder confidence.
  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Establish KPIs and SLAs to measure the success of outsourcing and shared service operations. Implement a feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all strategies comply with legal, regulatory, and data security requirements across jurisdictions. Identify and proactively manage risks associated with cross-border operations and third-party engagements.
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business related or STEM careers
  • 10 years of relevant experience in transformational roles
  • Track record in building and successfully implementing governance, methodologies, and frameworks to drive enterprise-wide transformational programs
  • Strong experience in optimization programs to improve performance through AI and automation
  • Solid experience building shared centers and moving processes to different ways of working
