The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Brand Designer will play a key role in advancing the MedTech company's global visual brand identity. They will support the business through design consultation and services that empower a consistent and cohesive visual expression of our brand across touchpoints and experiences.

As a Brand Designer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Brand design strategy

  • Develop and maintain the Solventum visual identity across the brand architecture, including logos, colors, and typography.
  • Develop and optimize visual elements of brand guidelines, identity systems, templates, and toolkits.
  • Create design systems for new products, product rebrands and product acquisitions
  • Integrate brand health insights into visual solutions and strategies
  • Create and evolve visual solutions for unique applications, channels or platforms (example AI tools, digital aps, etc)
  • Lead art direction and/or create foundational brand assets like icons, photography, renders, and templates for prioritized portfolios.
  • Guide the bespoke design application of the Solventum brand to merchandise, events, and internal functions or groups.
  • Deliver brand identity design training to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Manage Brand Central guidelines and assets.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 4 years of brand design experience in a public, private or military environment.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND higher AND 4 years of brand design experience in a public, private or military environment.

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 4 years of proven experience with expert command of all Adobe Creative suite products and other relevant tools
  • Experience in digital photo manipulation and retouching.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of brand strategy, visual identity systems, corporate identities, and brand architecture principles.
  • Provide ability to create cohesive brand identities, design systems and guidelines.
  • Experience working in diverse specialty skill sets (environmental design, advertising, events, packaging, UX, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly collaborative with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail in all design aspects.

Work location: Remote - United States

Travel: May include up to [5%][domestic/international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
