HR Generalist / Recruiter (Human Resources)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Coordinate and administer HR programs such as recruiting, training, and employee relations.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Back-up to payroll, leaves, and benefits administration.
Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
SHRM certification is a plus.
Minimum of five years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist and recruiter role.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in HR software (UKG) and Google Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule
This position operates on the 240-day schedule based on the Legacy Early College centralized calendar. This role is based on-site at Legacy Early College.

Position will have periods of extended work week hours, which are required to support both the ongoing development of the region and the delivery of high-quality education for all students.
Part of the HR team with no direct reports.
