Sr. Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)
Essential Responsibilities
This position is responsible for keeping the facility operating in excellent condition and repairing any problems when they are discovered. The Maintenance Technician will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility to include but not limited to; conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, repairing problems, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, landscaping, carpentry, door or wall repair
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Such as automation cells, 3-axis robots, conveyors, packaging equipment, assembly equipment etc.
- Plan and schedule repairs on equipment and or facility Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wires occurs.
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
- Responsible for daily machinery start-up
Supervisory Responsibility
This position is an individual contributor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position also interacts with machinery on the manufacturing floor and numerous devices that are sold by the company.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires no measurable travel.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 4+ years' maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
- Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity, certification required
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
- Groundskeeping and maintenance experience
- Wide variety of machinery experience
- Ability to read schematics and use a multimeter to troubleshoot
- Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
- Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
- The ability to complete production paperwork
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Injection molding, medical device or food industry experience preferred

- Demonstrated high quality computer skills including MS Office
- Must be detail-oriented and produce high quality work in a high-volume environment

- Ability to remain flexible and open to change within a fluid global industry
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
