Shipping Coordinator (Administrative)



Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the proper and accurate receiving of parts and inventory, ensuring proper placement of inventory received and packing parts orders for shipment. In addition, maintaining the supply room and inventory storage areas and working with Purchasing team to maintain inventory stock levels along with monthly inventory cycle counts. This position is for our Fenton, MO location.

Responsibilities:

Unload delivery trucks and place inventory and or supply items in appropriate locations utilizing fork trucks when necessary.
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate with Purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
Compare identifying information and counts, weights, and/or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, purchase orders, or other records.
Properly handle items and route to appropriate department, warehouse, or inventory cage.
Maintain inventory stock levels at appropriate levels, communicating with Purchasing when reordering is necessary.
Track Inventory utilizing appropriate forms and procedures.
Establish and maintain inventory stock located in warehouse in an organized manner.
Check and replenish, as needed, each workstation's supplies and materials daily.
Responsible for proper handling, labeling and storage of waste acetone drums.
Clean and organize parts room, loading area & warehouse.
Pack and prepare items to be shipped.
Assist with the production process as needed.
