Security Facilities Control Clerk (Information Technology)



Position Summary: 

Provide service and security functions at the complex. Responsible for opening and closing the Lands' End buildings and monitoring the operational status of support equipment and backup systems. Respond and assist with any medical and fire emergency situations. 

Shift hours:

2nd shift hours: 2:30 pm -10:30 pm

3rd shift hours: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am

Wage: $18.70/hour + shift premiums (2nd shift $1.00/hr; 3rd shift $2.00/hr)

Position Overview: 

  • Responsible for opening and closing buildings and maintaining physical surveillance of the complex.
  • Assist with fire and tornado evacuations and severe weather procedures.
  • Perform the required amount of building tours, as determined by the department manager, and reduce energy-consuming devices.
  • Record daily activities and maintain work logs as required recording any incidents/safety violations.
  • Foster and maintain good community relations. Provide liaison with local law enforcement agencies, fire department, emergency medical personnel, and other Lands' End departments.
  • Monitor the operational status of essential support equipment and any deviation to proper personnel.
  • Provide employee assistance (i.e. jump starts, escorts).
  • Perform facility operation of snow removal.

 

Required Skills: 

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed. OT when necessary
  • Ability to be self-directed, remain on task with limited supervision.
  • The physical, mental and emotional capacity to perform the assigned duties.
  • Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures with the ability to guide Lands' End personnel in an emergency situation.
  • Strong human relations and communication skills and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Possess a valid WI driver's license and excellent driving record.
