What You'll Do:

Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., Motivational Interviewing)

Conduct clinical assessments, develop person-centered treatment plans, and coordinate care

Respond quickly to mental health crises, providing screenings, interventions, and referrals

Facilitate psychoeducational groups and community education on mental health access

Work in close collaboration with hospitals, schools, jails, and other service providers

Support the Crisis Residential Unit with therapeutic services

Actively reduce barriers to care and promote community access to mental health services

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver services in trauma-informed, person-centered, recovery-focused ways

Engage with individuals experiencing high rates of non-compliance

Ensure documentation is up-to-date in our electronic medical records system

Participate in internal and external training (e.g., ASAM, MSHN)

Work within Michigan Mission-Based Performance Indicator System (MIMBPIS) timelines

What You Bring:

A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field

Current licensure in the State of Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, or equivalent)

Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness preferred

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work across various environments and maintain professionalism and empathy
