Machinist - 1st Shift (Finance)



As a Machinist Class A here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the production process

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diversified work to tear down, rebuild and adjust any type of machine regardless of make or model. Scrape ways and bearings, line levels and adjust machine.
  • Use a variety of machine tools.
  • Considerable judgment necessary to adapt standard machines to special purposes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain workmanship standards in order to maintain efficiency or accuracy of machine tools.
  • Orders supplies as required.

The annual base salary range for this position is $41.013/hour Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Light physical effort in performance of duties. Occasional heavy lifting of moving parts or equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Exposed to varying degrees of dust, dirt, noise, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Work experience with shop mathematics, handbook formulas, blueprints, and measuring instruments/ Have completed a Machine Repair Apprenticeship
    • Coursework in Fluid Power Technology (for example hydraulics, pneumatics) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Fluid Power Technology

OR ALL of the following
  • Coursework in Machine Trades (for example lathe, vertical milling machine) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Machine Trades

  • Coursework in Pump/Pressure Machines (for example vacuum pump, fluid pump, compressed air) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Pump/Pressure Machines

  • Coursework in Industrial Repair of automated equipment and robotics AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Industrial Repair of automated equipment and robotics
