Quality Assurance Analyst (Legal)

Job Description:

Job Summary

This position works closely with development engineers, business analysts, and other Quality Assurance team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects to verify problem fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities require that the Quality Assurance Analyst meet the critical job demands, including but not limited to the following key areas:

  • Work with the Remediation Quality team to develop process improvement steps to ensure key Events (defined as project challenges and/or errors) are identified, monitored and remediated to the client's satisfaction

  • Lead comprehensive Event review process to ensure that short- and long-term remediations are effective in addressing both root cause and impact

  • Manage internal and external communications for Events, including: notifications; status updates; root cause disclosure and analysis; impact disclosure and analysis; and corrective actions

  • Create communications that translate technical terms into common language to help our clients understand what occurred and why

  • Serve as liaison with multiple internal technology teams, including network, infrastructure, security, server, database and software and product development

  • Create methodologies to capture and communicate Lessons Learned information to the organization and prevent recurrence of Events on different projects or teams

  • Develop measurement systems to analyze organizational quality and performance over time

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Analyst role emphasizing continuous improvement, process improvement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work multiple projects in a fast paced & dynamic company environment

  • Understanding of Epiq's business processes preferred but not required

  • Interest and ability in solving cross-functional problems by leveraging the skills of diverse team members

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction or as part of a team

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
