Sr IT Architect (AEM) (Finance)

You will report directly to our Sr. IT Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or Hosuton, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.

- 5+ years of experience in AEM and/or microservices using Java Spring framework development, including designing, developing, and maintaining AEM solutions (business and presentation logic)
- Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, & JS, OSGi, Git repositories, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development.
- Experience with AEM Cloud and Headless Architecture for Content Delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SAFe is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with other products SAP Hybris, Apigee, elastic search, ETL development is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

THE BUSINESS UNIT
The Corporate (CORP) business unit at Honeywell provides centralized support and services to the entire organization. As a Sr. IT Architect, you will be part of the CORP team, working closely with various business units to drive data-driven decision-making and enable the organization to extract valuable insights from our data assets.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop technical solutions for our company's portal using AEM, Java Spring and microservices architecture.
- Ensure that technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to improve our company's portal.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development process.
