Here's the scoop - Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Pet Professional Manager to lead the development and execution of our advocacy strategy. This individual will be responsible for identifying and nurturing brand advocates, sourcing relevant content, and ensuring our pet professionals are equipped to speak about our brands with confidence and authority.

The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage content for our advocacy hub, engage with digital teams for consumer activations, and support the brand experience team in incorporating sampling efforts. Additionally, the Pet Professional Manager will work closely with our Research & Innovation team to develop a vet engagement strategy.

Ultimately, this role delivers to our compelling purpose - "better world for pets".

What a typical day looks like
Advocate Strategy Development:

  • Identify and build relationships with key brand advocates within the pet professional community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and nurture these advocates to drive brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure advocacy efforts align with overall brand goals.
  • Manage agency relationship.

Content Sourcing & Management:

  • Source, curate, and manage content for the advocacy hub, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging.
  • Ensure all content is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for sharing within the professional community.
  • Maintain a library of resources for brand advocates, providing them with tools to effectively communicate our brand values.
Vet Engagement Strategy:
  • Partner with the Research & Innovation (R&I) team to develop a strategy and plan for engaging veterinary professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with vets, creating content and resources to support their role as brand advocates.
Digital Collaboration & End Consumer Activations:
  • Work closely with the digital team to align advocacy content with end consumer activation strategies.
  • Collaborate on campaigns and initiatives that highlight brand advocates, ensuring a seamless integration of content across channels.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content management, brand advocacy, or influencer marketing, ideally within the pet or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of pet professional communities (vets, groomers, trainers, etc.) and their role in shaping consumer preferences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and train others effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media strategies, with the ability to leverage content for consumer activations.
  • Passion for pets and the pet industry, with a deep understanding of brand advocacy and community engagement.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong project management capabilities.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position mayalso include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offeredand the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
