Accounts Receivable Associate (Manufacturing)
Position Summary
To provide accurate and timely cash application to company accounts as customer payments arrive. Work with internal departments to solve payment discrepancies and questions. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to the cash received by multiple banks in multiple bank accounts in various currencies.
Essential to this Position
- Understand, process, and perform accurate and timely application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
- Utilize SAP Operating system to perform cash application for US, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and Germany legal entities.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
- Advanced Excel work, data sort/subtotaling, concatenating, etc.
- Advanced Adobe Acrobat Reader, converting PDFs to Excel, combining, splitting, adding notes, etc.
- Understand technology and equipment that are an integral part of the accounts receivable process, including multiple bank lockboxes, bank interfaces, and required record storage.
- Assist with maintaining the AR SharePoint site, including indexing, etc.
- Assist in special projects within the department.
- Note: collection calls to customers are not handled by our department
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some relevant experience preferred.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong experience with computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Candidates will be required to complete a 10-key test as part of their interview. In cases where candidates are equally qualified, preference will be given to those with higher scores.
