Sr Manager, SAP (Finance)



Summary:

The Sr. Manager, SAP is responsible for providing leadership and support to the SAP IT COE team. The SAP Manager will work as a liaison for the SAP IT team and the business to identify areas of improvement and prioritize, sprint plan and support all PMO SAP specific projects and enhancement requests.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage and lead the SAP Team: Regular 1:1's, resource planning for SAP support, projects and enhancements
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Business and IT Development team to provide systems analysis, accurate sprint planning and support.
  • Partner with IT development team to test solutions, including updating appropriate documentation to ensure smooth system integrations and enhanced functionalities.
  • Partner and align with the PMO on projects and processes
  • Responsible to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and documentation of SAP Test Scripts and SAP Knowledge Base Takes a lead role and assist in working with peers to develop standard processes, procedures, and documentation. Identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state, design new processes, develop process performance measures and plan the transition to new processes as needed.
  • Leverage SAP industry standards and best practice.
  • Follow policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Change Control, Project Management methodology and SOX controls.
  • Assist with SAP solution design for major system changes and projects.
  • Assist with documentation and delivery of training as needed.
  • Be hands-on with SAP, and willing to learn additional SAP cross-functional areas.
  • Participate in Next Level Leadership planning

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports directly to Director of Enterprise Application Solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (4 year) degree or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 5 years of overall business / IT work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years IT Management Experience
  • SAP Experience 4+ years SAP Functional experience Quote to Cash
  • Proven Experience in financial reporting and analysis using standard SAP reports.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how to support fixes and improvements.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Adept at working in both group settings and independently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong professionalism, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical staff and end users.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • SAP Finance AR/AP, FICO Experience
  • SAP Merchandising
  • SAP DBA Experience
  • SAP Cross-Functional Knowledge
  • SAP Basic Configuration
  • EDI Experience/Knowledgeable
  • API Experience/Knowledgeable
  • JIRA Experience: Sprint Planning and Priortization

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
