Sr. Product Testing Analyst - HOKA (Finance)

Job Title: Sr. Product Testing Analyst - HOKA

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Product Testing - HOKA

Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid

The Role

As a Sr. Product Testing Analyst for HOKA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing plans, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to drive product improvements. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional products that exceed our customers' expectations.

Your Impact

  • Manage key steps of the product testing process, from test plan definition to test execution and communication within the product creation organization.
  • Apply skills to manage the global testers database through recruiting and selecting testers.
  • Manage projects to maintain a continuous and qualitative dialog with testers, and recruit effectively for specific project types.
  • Develop and optimize tools for test survey distribution, data collection and analysis, report creation, and communication to project groups within key calendar milestones.
  • Manage tests needing in-person supervision, such as fit testing, dynamic comparison testing, or specific biomechanical testing, both internally and with external partners.
  • Plan and execute product testing projects according to critical timelines and response rate targets.
  • Track and manage global test sample order and delivery to ensure all test timelines can be respected.
  • Plan and execute logistics in bulk test samples reception, individual shipments to testers, and reception and storage of returned samples.
  • Travel to specific test locations and key events for tester recruitment, as necessary.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in production through periodic examination of defective returns.
  • Proactively seek and evaluate new technologies relevant to Product Testing.
  • Assist in training new team members and, if applicable, manage Product Testing Analyst II or below.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with coursework or solid experience in research methodology, test design, and analysis.
  • 8 to 10 years' experience in a work context where research, data collection, and results analysis were significant parts of the job duties.
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in the footwear industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of footwear Product Creation and Product Testing as key parts of it.
  • 1-2+ years' experience of training new team members.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database and surveying software such as Qualtrics or equivalents.
  • Mastering measurement tools such as Brannock device, 3D foot scanner, last jack, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional products.
  • Adaptable and open to continuous learning.
