Senior Test Engineer/Analyst (Finance)
The successful candidate will support the development efforts of current United States military products providing hardware development and certification expertise. Candidate will develop an electrical hardware package for monitoring metabolic work loads of military purpose canines while implementing machine learning algorithms for alerts and/or notifications.
Candidate will be expected to design, test and deliver certified hardware along with all supporting documentation. The candidate will work autonomously and as part of a team of developers and scientists, as necessary, for the completion of the project.
Job Requirements:
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design, development, integration, and test of the system hardware through delivery
• Proficient in authoring requirements, test plans, test reports and analyses concerning compliance with specification and/or qualification requirements.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree within an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university
• 10+ years professional hands on experience with hardware testing and delivery
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
• Proficient in LabView programming or other data collection software languages
Preferred Skills
• Application of engineering principles and scientific investigative techniques to support planning, analysis, assessment, and reporting activities to accomplish customer requirements
• Experience with software development or analysis using MATLAB, Python, Java, SQL, SysML, or similar programming tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with office automation tools
• Experience with electrical to hardware interfaces and implementation (analog I/O, digital I/O, etc.)
• Experience with metabolic monitoring and data analysis
