What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Administer Medications Safely & Accurately: · Assist residents with self-administration of medications following physician orders and community protocols. · Document medication administration and maintain accurate records per state and community regulations. · Report medication errors, refusals, or resident concerns promptly and professionally. Support Resident Health & Comfort: · Observe residents for side effects or changes in condition and report findings to nursing or clinical leadership. · Provide daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. · Offer emotional support and build trusting relationships with residents and families. Be a Reliable Team Player: · Work alongside nurses, CNAs, and caregivers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. · Assist with training new team members and help maintain a positive, respectful work environment. · Help with light housekeeping or meal assistance when needed to support the team.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Big Heart & Sharp Eye) Licensure & Credentials: · Active QMAP certification in the state of employment required. · CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience & Skills: · Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred. · Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills. · Ability to remain calm, kind, and focused in high-pressure situations. Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents throughout your shift. · Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and support resident transfers safely.
