Sr Director Finance (Finance)



As a Senior Director Finance - Project Accounting here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical leadership position within the UOP division, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the project accounting function. In this role, you will drive the financial success of the organization by developing and executing comprehensive financial strategies that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business strategies. As a trusted advisor, you will provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and minimize costs. Your expertise in project accounting and financial analysis will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for business expansion and mitigating financial risks.

You will report directly to our Vice President of Finance and you will work out of our UOP division headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of the UOP division by leading and overseeing the project accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to financial policies and procedures, and compliance with financial regulations. Your leadership and strategic thinking abilities will be crucial in driving financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic direction and oversight to the project accounting function

• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives

• Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business strategies

• Provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and minimize costs

• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to identify business expansion opportunities and mitigate financial risks

• Lead and mentor a team of project accounting professionals

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership

• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior executives and the board of directors

• Drive financial performance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and optimize resource allocation

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $195,000 - 265000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
