Living Donor Community Education Coordinator (Finance)



Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Normal hours are Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, but those hours will occasionally flex as some night and weekend hours will be required to accommodate scheduled events. This is a hybrid position. Home office will be at University Hospital in Madison, WI and the person in this role will be expected to be onsite occasionally for in-person department meetings. Initial onboarding process will require onsite days. Frequent local travel will be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Living Donor Community Education Coordinator to:

  • Provide guidance, education, and presentations to programs/agencies throughout the region related to living donation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with marketing to develop educational content for brochures, web sites and other materials to advance awareness and understanding of living donation programs.
  • Remain up to date on current issues related to living donation, including federal protection bills, new national campaigns, and significant shifts in clinical care or processes.
  • Build partnerships with various organizations and create living donor referral opportunities.
  • Collect and relay stories of hope and gratitude to inspire people to become a living donor.
  • Document all activities, participation, audience, and estimated reach/return. Order and maintain adequate inventory of educational materials and promotional items.
  • Leverage combined knowledge, skills and resources across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business or relevant field Required
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business or relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience planning and implementing community education/outreach programs, including giving presentations Required
  • Experience in developing educational programs Preferred
  • Experience with planning and implementing community outreach events Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid WI Driver's License and current Auto Insurance Upon Hire Required
