🌟 What You'll Be Doing:

As an On-Call LVN, you'll support residents with professional and attentive care while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment. Your responsibilities include:

📝 Administrative & Documentation:

• Coordinate care with CNAs and follow facility protocols
• Chart thoroughly and accurately—nurses' notes, assessments, and physician's orders
• Complete incident reports, admission/discharge forms, and medication records

💊 Medication Administration:

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered
• Monitor narcotics, ensure proper labeling, and report discrepancies
• Ensure all treatments and meds are properly documented

🩹 Direct Patient Care:

• Conduct rounds, monitor residents' condition, and ensure individualized care
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team

🤝 Team Leadership & Communication:

• Provide leadership to CNA staff
• Attend to staff needs, offer support, and report shift updates to supervisors
• Maintain a calm, welcoming environment for residents and families

🧼 Safety & Sanitation:

• Follow infection control practices
• Promote a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure staff compliance with hand hygiene and PPE use

✅ What You'll Need:

• Active LVN license in the state of California
• Excellent charting and time management skills
• Flexibility to work as needed, including weekends/holidays
• A positive attitude and love for team collaboration
