Manufacturing Technician (Engineering)

Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
Performs various functions to support the manufacturing of pigment in accordance with quality standards and production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Follow directions, policies, written job instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Manufacture products according to specifications and work orders
• Monitor product quality against established parameters
• Conduct inspections on raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets
• Document relevant information accurately and efficiently
• Utilize computer systems for data entry and communication purposes
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly when needed

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledgeable in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Strong work ethic, ability to get along with others, and excellent Leadership skills.
• Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Effective English communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and priorities
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing techniques beneficial
