Accounts Payable Supervisor (Administrative)

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor for County Materials in Marathon City, WI.

Job Duties:
Manage Team Members assigned and provide leadership as needed to ensure desired results.Oversee completion of all AP functions Set up new vendor accounts in SXE.Prepare credit applications.Follow procedures and internal controls for authorized approvals.Responsible for training new team members on AP processesResponsible for answering all day-to-day questions from AP team members for all entities.Responsible for maintenance of AP paperless systemMonth end reports to GL accountantsAssist with Purchase Cards and related GL postingsEnsure compliance with 1099 reporting

Work Environment:
Office working environment

Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently.Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely.Standing / Walking / Climbing

Experience & Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting preferred3+ years experience in Accounts Payable ManagementMust be proficient in Microsoft products.Excellent communication skillsGood mathematical skillsPro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.Accuracy and detail orientedExperience implementing and managing an automated Accounts Payable systemMuli-entity experience a plus
