Accounting Supervisor (Finance)

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is a seeking full-time Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary: This is an entry level supervisor position to assist with the supervision of the day-to-day operations of a 5-10 person department in our Accounting area. The Supervisor is also responsible for helping with financial processing tasks within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare and verify various daily and monthly financial reports.
• Assist with daily and month end financial processing requirements, including creating and maintaining complex reconciliation spreadsheets.
• Research and process financial adjustments, including check NSFs, and credit card chargebacks.
• Provide supervisory support to team of staff within the Accounting Department.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks, as needed, including training, and support to other Departments.
• Perform QA/QC on staff work.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical skills to identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products in a networked environment.

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
