Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Orchard View Post Acute
At Orchard View Post Acute, we are dedicated to providing quality care and a supportive environment for our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
General Purpose
The CNA provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (TPR, weight, intake/output) as instructed
- Ensure residents are comfortable, safe, and checked on regularly
- Report changes in condition, incidents, or concerns promptly to the Charge Nurse
- Help transport residents, make beds, and maintain a clean environment
- Support restorative and rehabilitative care procedures
- Respect resident rights, maintain confidentiality, and promote dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and assist with resident transfers as needed
