Solutions Procurement Director (Finance)

Digital Buildings is looking for an experienced procurement professional to IMPACT Business growth, deliver margin improvement and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and trust.

The Solutions Procurement Director will lead a high performing team of strategic Solutions Purchasers who are passionate about Business amplification, as they transform & execute sourcing strategies for Systems & Services in North America aligned with Business goals & global procurement ambitions.

This role is works in close collaboration with the Digital Buildings Systems & Service Operational Team. The role will continue to develop what is recognized as the top-performing procurement team in the Globe for Systems & Services. This role is essential for defining & driving procurement strategies that support the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for Systems & Services in North America aligned with Business goals, sustainability & global procurement ambitions.
  • Lead and develop a team of Strategic Solutions Purchasers, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and trust.
  • Collaborate globally on methodologies, tools, best practices, and market analytics

Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure business continuity
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions

Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement solutions
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with Systems & Service Operations Team driving transformation to amplify Digital Buildings results
  • Facilitate communication between departments and suppliers to ensure alignment and address challenges
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, providing insights and recommendations

Supplier Management:
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to assess performance and identify opportunities for collaboration

Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize procurement processes to deliver business growth and margin improvement
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years in senior procurement leadership leading high performing teams
  • Proven experience driving transformational initiatives
  • Demonstrated change management, negotiation & project management skills delivering sustainable results
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in new construction including subcontractor management
