Summer Intern 2022 - Policy Effectiveness & Assessment - Division of Supervision & Regulation (Finance)
The intern will work on various data collections from supervised banks and on other financial datasets. They may access databases using SQL, update or create new data quality rules, and test various data processes. The interns may also develop new processes for analyzing financial data, document processes for the data, or otherwise analyze data under the direction of permanent staff. Interns may also work on policy-oriented projects on our bank regulatory framework.
Over the course of the internship, the intern will strengthen their skills in data analysis and enhance their understanding of the US regulatory framework.
Desired background for interns include study of economics or related fields. Interns with a more quantitative background such as mathematics or physics may also be considered. Programming skills in SQL, R, Stata or Python are desired.
Minimum level of education desired: College Junior
This internship can be completed virtually.

US Citizenship is required for all Board internships and applicants must be current students, graduating from their program fall 2022 or later.
