Assistant Actuary (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

This assistant actuary position is responsible for supporting the Construction unit within Major Accounts. The role is based in our Philadelphia office and reports to the lead Construction Actuary in Major Accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Large Account Pricing: Collaborate closely with underwriters to provide actuarial support for both excess and primary construction groups.
  • Excess of Aggregate Study: Complete the annual excess of aggregate reserve review and quarterly updates of aggregate accounts.
  • Profitability Study: Conduct the annual Primary Construction Profit Study.
  • Reporting: Compile price monitor details monthly and benchmarking quarterly, along with other miscellaneous reports.
