🎯 Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging recreational programs and social activities.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
- Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement when needed.
- Help set up and clean up activity areas.
- Document resident attendance and feedback.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure activities align with care plans.
- Support special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
👤 Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage residents with diverse needs.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
