The compensation range for this role is:

$84,063.00 - $134,451.00

Job Description

• Lead development and refinement of provisioning workflows and recommend automation improvements.
• Orders, installs, and tests complex circuit designs.
• Handles circuit provisioning responsibilities.
• Facilitates physical layer installation of network cabling.
• Performs physical circuit troubleshooting and fault analysis.
• Manage Circuit MACD Orders: Oversee the full life cycle of circuit MACD orders, including initiation, execution, and completion.
• Administration: Review ticket requirements, reserve router interface, assign patch panel demarcation, design path, track FOC, and request patching between equipment, and order cross-connects.
• Issue Documentation: Prepare and issue Letters of Authorization (LOA) and Connecting Facility Assignments (CFA). Handle and load cross-connect orders and manage Circuit Layout Reports (CLR) / Design Layout Reports (DLR) to ensure all circuit documentation is accurate.
• Vendor Coordination: Directly execute or manage local vendor technicians for circuit provisioning, cross-connect delivery, and troubleshooting. Manages local vendor technicians for circuit and cross-connect delivery, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
• Physical Layer Installation: Facilitate the physical installation of network cabling according to cabling matrices.
• Troubleshooting and Fault Analysis: Perform physical circuit troubleshooting and fault analysis to ensure network reliability.
• Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for production environments and collaborate with vendors, system owners, and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Request Coordination: Coordinate and track requests/orders and generate weekly reports on progress and status.
• Documentation: Post detailed documentation on each implementation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintenance and Change Management: Oversee the maintenance and change management processes for circuit provisioning lifecycle ensuring all updates, modifications, and repairs are carried out smoothly and in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Communication: Provide thorough and timely status throughout the entire implementation life cycle in the tracking system; including communicating vendor provisioning/install lead times. Communicate and collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders, and network carriers.
• Document service requests, escalate as needed, and provide timely and accurate updates
• Design, provision, and test delivered services to ensure quality hand-off to internal customers
• Expedite and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
• Prioritize projects, manage and direct activities to deliver connectivity within the project schedule
• Read and comprehend vendor-specific requirements

Education/Experience

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field preferred and or
• 5-10 years experience
• Familiarity with DSI, DSE, and DS)'s circuits
• Knowledge of Access Server Request (ASR) to local Carriers
• Understanding a provisioning network bandwidth for I transit, fiber, voice, and wavelength services
• and 2 + years experience in datacenter or corporate/enterprise IT infrastructure, with a strong understanding of IT best practices (ITIL) and equipment lifecycle processes
• Relevant Certifications Server+, Network+, A+, CDCTP, CDCPM, etc
