Product Sales Director (Marketing)
Represent the YMCA, with a comprehensive understanding of the sales product, programs and/or services including any new and additional programs launched for our communities.
Build relationships with other Sales Product Executives and Marketing to lead growth strategies. Execute on the strategies identified by the Vice President of Sales and Executives driving revenue goals.
Meet or exceed sales goals for wellness programs including leading initiatives to exceed sales targets.
Maximize sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight to the needs and lifestyle of the client.
Collaborate with sales team to meet monthly and annual sales.
Partner with the Vice President of Sales, monitor and train on sales techniques.
Commit to customer service by building and sustaining relationships keeping the YMCA at the forefront for our members.
Report on products and services as well as team KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and support.
Adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Manages key dates/program launches and disseminates to the Sales Managers
Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research.
Build partnerships with Membership Services across Y of the North Locations to drive service and cross selling opportunities.
Create and promote a work environment that is inclusive of diverse backgrounds.
Lead and supervise team members as assigned.
3. Relationships:
The Product Sales Director reports to the Vice President of Sales who reports to the Senior Vice President of Product Growth and will work closely with the AVPs of Operations, Community Leaders, Product Executives, Day Camp/ Adventure leaders, and Engagement Team. The incumbent interacts regularly with team members and represents the YMCA branch in the community. The Product Sales Director - Adventure may supervise one or more team members.
4. Qualifications:
Required
Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience by direct management of a team or project.
Minimum three (3) years of sales experience and a proven track record of initiative, creativity, and motivation to surpass challenging performance goals.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and training teams.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse populations to achieve a desired result.
Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions and branch sales strategies.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in highly flexible, rapidly changing and ambiguous work environment.
Ability to be flexible with work hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to deal with pressure in meeting sales goals.
5. Work Conditions:
Ability to travel to and from to work from various locations collaborating with Sales Managers, Sales Directors and additional Y of the North employees.
Ability to work on days, nights and weekends as determined by demand
Ability to conduct branch tours with excitement and passion.
Ability to respond to emergency in a calm and efficient manner.
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
