Day Hab Trainer - Full Time (Personal Services)
Would you enjoy helping people become independent in daily tasks and contributing to a fulfilling mission? We are looking to hire a full time Day Habilitation Trainer at our Quad Cities Center!
Day Habilitation Trainers help participants with barriers to independence explore our community by going out for lunch, grocery shopping, volunteering, swimming, fishing, visiting museums and more. Agency vehicles or public transportation are used for all community activities.
This is a direct support professional position, and Day Habilitation Trainers help clients develop skills such as cooking, writing, sewing, sign language and more. We are looking for someone who has a passion they are willing to share with others to help round out our diverse staff. In addition to working with participants, Day Habilitation Trainers complete daily documentation on participant goals and progress.
Qualifications:
The Day Habilitation position has a starting wage of $15.01 per hour. The schedule will be 40 hours per week and the hours will typically be Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.
