The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Director of Lean Value Stream (LVS) Transformation leads the Service Advantage Center Systems, Continuous improvement, and transactional Customer Experience teams. This strategic role is instrumental in driving organizational transformation across the entire order and support value streams to achieve net revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and optimize operational effectiveness across the full Field Service and Advantage Center functions for our Americas organization and in collaboration with our commercial, IT and finance partners.

As Director of LVS Transformation, MedSurg Americas, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Operational Leadership

  • Develop and execute strategies that align with company and departmental goals.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and decision-making across key operational functions.
  • Solve complex business challenges through data-driven analysis and structured prioritization.
  • Drive enterprise change management and build a culture of agility and accountability.
  • Set and track performance metrics to ensure measurable progress and impact.

Service Systems & Automation

  • Design scalable system enablement strategies to support operational growth and innovation.
  • Drive workflow automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital teams to align road maps and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Guide development of business requirements and lead quality assurance for solution rollouts.
  • Ensure platforms are adaptable to future needs and emerging opportunities.

Continuous Improvement (Lean / Everyday Solvers)

  • Lead the operational improvement roadmap, prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
  • Build a strong CI team and train employees across levels in Lean methodologies.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive insights and targeted improvements.
  • Implement Lean tools to reduce waste, improve flow, and optimize performance.

Customer Success:

  • Champion a customer-centric culture by embedding the voice of the customer across the organization.
  • Build and lead a customer success team focused on improving outcomes, value, and experience.
  • Translate customer insights into strategies that drive adoption, retention, and seamless engagement.
  • Align business KPIs to reflect customer success metrics and priorities.


Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to align strategy and execution across diverse functions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by promoting transparency, shared accountability, and cohesive teamwork.
  • Leverage cross-disciplinary expertise to drive innovation, problem-solving, and break down organizational silos.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field AND

15 years of proven experience in leadership roles overseeing transactional operations and transformation efforts

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND 19 years of proven experience in leadership roles overseeing transactional operations and transformation efforts

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Champion with a focus on transactional environments.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives, including strategic planning, governance, and execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful delivery of project outcomes.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated track record of success in driving revenue growth and enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to [San Antonio, TX at least 4 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
