IT Senior Project Manager (Personal Services)



The Information Technology Senior Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.  The Senior IT Project Manager will lead projects related to Infrastructure/Networking as well as business projects largely implementing new tools, functions, and processes. 

Duties/Responsibilities – Project Management

  • Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project approvals, objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, risk assessments, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for delays, realigning schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Ensures proper IT cutover plans are created, communicated and coordinated for execution.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience leading IT projects in various technical areas
  • Advanced skills with project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Celoxis or other toolset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
  • Strong detailed and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
  • Experience leading projects related to IT Infrastructure, Networking, ERP systems, SaaS systems and/or eCommerce solutions.
  • Experience managing projects that include IT, business and third-party resources.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • PMP or Agile Practice Certification
