Payroll Specialist (Administrative)



Quirk Auto Dealerships of Braintree has a full-time opening as a Payroll Specialist. This is a great entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual. The hours for this position are 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Starting pay for this position will depend on experience. This position will report to the Payroll Manager.

Job Duties Include:

  • Processing weekly Payrolls while ensuring accuracy.
  • Communicate with store managers.
  • Answer employee questions
  • Scans/files various employee documents to the employee file
  • Enters maintains and/or process information in the payroll system
  • Answering basic payroll questions in person and over the phone

Job Requirements:

  • Basic computer and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel preferred
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Relevant experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
