Managing Consultant, Impact Assessment and Permitting (Biotech)
ERM is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to play a key role in growing our business in our Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have experience leading wetland and biological field assessments and permitting projects related to renewable energy, transmission, or other capital project developments. Solar experience is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to advance you career with ERM's experienced consulting teams in renewable energy permitting, with additional opportunities to contribute to onshore wind, electrical transmission, oil & gas, and technology infrastructure projects.
As a senior technical leader and project manager, you will manage permitting and/or due diligence processes, provide leadership in biological field surveys, conduct research to define permitting requirements, coordinate with relevant jurisdictions during permitting processes, develop permitting plans, and developing or coordinating permit applications. You will also participate in teams conducting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, state-level equivalent reviews, and environmental permitting for large-scale capital projects in the eastern states and beyond.
