Assistant Director of Nursing (Healthcare)

Ozark Total Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. We are a growing, multi-division healthcare organization committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care across home health, hospice, personal care, and behavioral health services.

The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to oversee clinical operations, support compliance initiatives, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing all nursing services.Assist in supervising, mentoring, and developing nursing staff across service lines.Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations (CMS, ACHC, DHSS, MO HealthNet, etc.).Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.Assist in reviewing referrals, care plans, and clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.Provide leadership during audits, surveys, and compliance reviews.Foster strong communication between clinical teams, physicians, patients, and families.
