FSO, Security Manager (TS/SCI) {S} (Finance)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) in ARKA's Radar and Sensor Technologies (RST) business located in Ypsilanti, MI facility. This role will report to the ARKA Director of Security, will work in unison with all the Security personnel across ARKA, and will have all of RST's Industrial Security professionals report to them. The RST FSO is responsible for the continued compliance of RST's facility IAW laws, regulations, and requirements. Most importantly, the FSO is responsible for the safety and security of all RST facilities and staff. The RST FSO has to be a strong and flexible leader that is able to interact daily with all levels of leadership and collaborate with all RST departments and ARKA resources in order to operate in optimal capacity.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the overall security program of RST
  • Manages the Security Professionals assigned to RST
  • Ensures continued compliance IAW all applicable local, State and Federal laws, regulations, contractual obligations, Customer requirements, and company policies
  • Oversees the RST Insider Threat Program and all RST adverse reporting
  • Facilitates RST with compliance-based solutions that keep the BU effective and compliant
  • Spearheads collaboration with RST departments to ensure Security is tracking all RST activities
  • Manages the compliance and operational ability of all classified areas of RST facilities
  • Directs the Security & Education program for RST
  • Reporting actual or potential Insider Threat situations to the ARKA ITPSO

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of managing USG classified programs
  • Minimum of current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with in-scope background investigation
  • CDSE FSO of Processing Facilities certification
  • Experience in the following areas: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs
  • Experience managing various information system security tools i.e.: (SCAP Compliance Checker,
  • Independent self-starter, proactive and professional
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for projects in collaboration with customers, Information Technology (IT) and other functional support departments.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership
  • Required to obtain / maintain various accesses and U.S. security clearances

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS/MA degree within relevant fields such as Business, Management, or Information Systems
  • Prior experience managing Security Professionals
  • Prior experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) processes and policies preferred
