Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (Finance)



As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will evaluate and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and tools; equipment and fixtures related to multi-axis milling machines; foundry auxiliary support systems and facilities assets. You will be responsible to perform troubleshooting of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic system, and basic electrical systems/components.

Work hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Key Accountabilities: ( accountabilities not all inclusive)

Mechanical

  • Responsible for diagnosing and repairing milling & turning machines at the facility
  • Responsible for mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair

Facilities

  • Support site's facilities and repairing milling & turning needs (i.e. HVAC, Cooling Tower, Security Access, Fire Detection/Suppression systems, etc.

Electrical/Controls

  • PLC knowledgeable to trouble shoot automated equipment
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) [specific to electrical conductor and conduit specification/installation requirements] to support repair of existing and installation of new electrical service

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a multi-craft (electrical and mechanical) industrial manufacturing technician or equivalent technical experience performing equipment/facility trouble shooting and repairs
  • Ability to lift components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely use overhead cranes, forklifts, and various equipment movers. Training will be provided.
  • To be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
  • High School diploma/GED required

Preferred Requirements:
  • 5 years multi-craft experience as a multi-craft industrial manufacturing technician performing trouble shooting/repairs and preventative maintenance
  • In depth knowledge of Power Distribution Systems, Process Logic Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives, Foundry Operations, Gas Furnace Combustion Controls, Machine Tool Technology (manual and CNC), Tribology, Welding & Fabrication, HVAC, overhead cranes (up to 125MT)
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial manufacturing maintenance
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, furnace gas combustion and hydraulic system operations along with general site facility maintenance
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System proficiency or ability to learn (preferably Maximo)
  • Familiarity with Micro Soft office products (Word/Ex cel/Teams/Outlook, etc.
