Responsibilities:
Performs all maintenance work accurately and in a timely manner, verifies correct materials from the Maintenance Parts inventory on any Facility equipment as needed to insure all quality standards are met. Makes certain that all work is done in a safe manner.
Reports to Managers and Supervisors immediately any issues regarding the building and grounds deficiencies that may impact shift performance for proper course of action to be taken.
Supports equipment upgrades, plant improvement, expansions, and installations by conferring and collaborating with Engineering and Maintenance Manager, operations personnel, design engineers and outside contractors in coordinating the activities with internal team members.
Ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code. Reports unsafe or hazardous conditions. Maintains
complete records of repair work, project costs, and time.
Assist with the bid and award process and Budgetary oversight of projects.
Carries out projects that improve efficiencies, reduce operating cost or improve equipment reliability with or without assistance.
Environmental reporting and maintenance. Knowledge of State/Federal EPA and OSHA compliance requirements.
Communicates regularly with all other maintenance personnel and as a group to ensure good two way communication concerning building maintenance issues in all areas of the building and grounds. And to ensure all building maintenance related issues are acted upon quickly and effectively.
Skills, Experience, Education:
Associates Degree
1 to 2 years experience
Project management experience
Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Carpentry
Knowledge of building / construction skills
Knowledge base in building codes and the permit process
Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
