Here's the scoop - Summary
A strategic high-impact marketer who brings a strong global mindset, the Global Senior Brand Manager- ACANA brand will lead key brand building initiatives, from strategy to innovation, to in-market execution designed to accelerate growth across international markets.
Reporting to the Global VP Marketing - ACANA, will support the development of the global 5-year Growth Strategy, global brand P&L, and execute global deployment.
This is a highly visible role that works across a matrixed organization, partnering closely with regional teams, agency partners, and cross functional stakeholders. Working in close partnership with the global brand experience, global media, regional leadership, innovation, and insight teams. This leader is an experienced marketer with a strong business acumen, who creates consumer centric plans rooted in insights and knows how to effectively deploy them through the business and across the globe to deliver exceptional results.

What a typical day looks like
Global Brand Custodian : Develop, effectively deploy, monitor and protect ACANA brand equity via the brand foundations toolkit. Including brand compass, food philosophy, brand meaning and story, visual ID, global range architecture, innovation pipeline, and communications. Nurturing a vibrant global brand community, representing the voice of the brand in all 80+ markets.
Global Growth Strategy and Planning: Support development of the ACANA brand 5 year growth strategy to ensure long term equity building, relevance, and growth across diverse markets. Anchor quality global growth levers using the Mars 'expert' growth model. Via this annual process, identify growth levers and build the business case to align the organization behind scale global opportunities.
Analytical rigor and business acumen: Through analytical rigor of global trends, category dynamics, competitive analysis, consumer insights, collation of regional growth opportunities, and core business acumen, provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on global opportunities and challenges. Build expertise in translating data into global growth levers through the Mars 'Expert' Growth Model. The role is critical in driving profitable growth and ensures that deployment of growth opportunities align with the CHAMPION strategic objectives, thus fostering coherence and synergy across our global enterprise.
Create and deploy Global creative that elevate brand storytelling, inspires regional execution, and upholds creative standards. L ead agency partners, internal creative team, and media planning team to deliver breakthrough creative and data driven marketing.
Collaborate across global, regional, and local teams to ensure relevant cohesive brand building efforts and adaptation of executions to fit market needs.
Lead global portfolio management and range architecture define the optimal product assortment across regions, ensuring strategic alignment with brand positioning and pricing strategy. Drive portfolio efficiency while creating a compelling value proposition and maximizing profitability.
Drive innovation strategy and pipeline: Partnering with the innovations team, R&D, insights, and regions to identify consumer rooted breakthrough innovation.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position mayalso include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offeredand the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
