Chemist I (Finance)



As a Chemist I at Honeywell, you will employ critical thinking and use your knowledge of chemistry fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under direct supervision and alongside talented chemists to develop and optimize analytical test methods, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development of Honeywell's next generation of products. You will be a part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of our methods and programs. You will report directly to our Chemist Supervisor and work out of our Spokane, WA location (please note this is not a remote or hybrid role). In this role, you will impact the development of innovative solutions and contribute to the success of our projects and programs.As a Chemist I here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of chemists to develop and optimize chemical formulations, conduct experiments, and ensure successful product development, driving innovation and quality.YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science.

• 6+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment, which may combine educational experience plus working experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is <$60,700.00-78,000.00>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
